We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Lecturer / Assessor to join our School of Technical Apprenticeships. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing learners for a wide range of careers and/or higher education, meeting the latest industry standards. This role involves the assessment of trainees working towards their Technical Apprenticeship and teaching on a range of engineering standards at Level 3.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assessing trainees working towards their Technical Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
- Teaching on a range of engineering standards in Engineering at Level 3.
- Providing support and guidance to apprentices throughout their learning journey.
- Ensuring that teaching methods and materials meet the latest industry standards.
- Motivating and engaging apprentices to achieve their full potential.
- Maintaining accurate records of apprentice progress and assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 in Mechanical Engineering (degree preferred).
- Up-to-date experience of teaching and/or assessing within Mechanical Engineering.
- Good communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage apprentices.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in both teaching and engineering fields.
