Finance Assistant

We are currently working alongside a very successful SME business near Colne who are looking for a Finance Assistant to work within the busy finance department. The main aspect of the role will be to support the Finance Manager in the production of the monthly accounts, however other adhoc tasks will be required.

Duties will include: -

  • Management of the processing of the purchase ledger, with a large volume of invoices
  • Responsible for the cash allocation and posting.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Liaise with managers across the business in monitoring internal expenditure
  • Process of the weekly and monthly payroll
  • Assist with credit control and monitor customer payments, building effective collection relationships.
  • General office support with the Finance Department

The successful candidate will be experienced with the management of the transactional processing within the accounts function, preferably within an SME business which requires you to work as a team with your peers.
