Purchase Ledger Assistant

A Purchase Ledger Assistant is needed for a growing business, based in Chandlers Ford. This role offers a collaborative environment, sector exposure, and flexible working hours. This Purchase Ledger Assistant position presents a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a busy and varied role. You will gain exposure across all aspects of the Accounts Payable function.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Reconciliation of bank accounts (GBP)
  • Processing supplier invoices into the accountancy system
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Maintaining the accounts email inbox
  • Assisting with weekly payment runs

What you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Purchase Ledger Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk / Purchase Ledger Administrator / Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Payable Administrator
  • A methodical and accurate approach
  • Confidence with Excel, Sage
