We're currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client in Beenham, West Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established organisation that values hard work and reliability. The role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with a working pattern of 9am to 5.30pm.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the warehouse operation, ensuring the smooth processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing goods. Your main duties will include locating, processing, and distributing goods, validating orders, and maintaining an efficient filing system. You will also be responsible for conducting regular stock checks and highlighting any discrepancies.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have previous warehouse experience and excellent attention to detail. You should also be comfortable using mechanical handling equipment and be familiar with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment. Our client is looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.
This is an ongoing temporary position with the potential to turn into a permanent opportunity. The starting pay rate is £12.56 per hour, which will increase to £13.45 after 6 months. Please note that our client will be moving to Reading in January 2025, so you will need to be able to relocate with them.
