Here at EdEx, we are working with a brilliant Secondary School based in Haringey who are keen to take on a new Secondary Education Assistant to inspire and support their pupils. The school is looking to fill this role this September, could you be the right person to do this?
As a Secondary Education Assistant, you will be there to support the pupils both inside and outside the classroom to assist in improving their overall academic performance. This can involve holding dedicated 1:1 or group intervention groups, allowing time to focus on areas students may need further assistance with.
In this position you will be rewarded day in and out, seeing the students grow and come out of their shells both socially and academically.

Job Description:
- Secondary Education Assistant
- Providing effective support to the lead Teacher both inside and outside the classroom
- Delivering academic support across KS3, KS4 & KS5
- Lead group and 1:1 intervention sessions to enhance academic performance
- At times this can involve supporting SEN pupils (Non-Verbal, ADHD, ASD etc)
- September start
- £105 - £110 per day
- Full academic year - Term time only
- Based within Haringey

Ideal Applicant:
- Hold a degree from a reputable university
- Must have a genuine passion for seeing children grow academically
- Previous experience working with SEN is desirable but not necessary
- Have a hard-working and driven attitude inside and outside the classroom
