Scrum Master

Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Remote with some travel to Warwick, London and other operational sites

Pay: £600 per day inside umbrella

Duration: 6 months

Our client, a leading technology company in the software development industry, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrum Master to join their growing team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating agile development practises and ensuring efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and coach the development team and product owners on agile principles and methodologies.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help them achieve high-performance levels and deliver outstanding results.
  • Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting self-organisation and accountability.
  • Support the product owner in product backlog management and prioritisation.
  • Provide clear and transparent communication across all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is well-informed on project status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Continuously monitor team performance metrics and promote continuous improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to optimise workflow, minimise waste, and enhance overall team efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practises in agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

Requirements:

  • Salesforce experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile principles and the Scrum framework.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification highly preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient with agile tools such as Jira or similar project management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field is desired but not mandatory.
