Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Remote with some travel to Warwick, London and other operational sites
Pay: £600 per day inside umbrella
Duration: 6 months
Our client, a leading technology company in the software development industry, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrum Master to join their growing team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating agile development practises and ensuring efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach the development team and product owners on agile principles and methodologies.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help them achieve high-performance levels and deliver outstanding results.
- Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting self-organisation and accountability.
- Support the product owner in product backlog management and prioritisation.
- Provide clear and transparent communication across all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is well-informed on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Continuously monitor team performance metrics and promote continuous improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders to optimise workflow, minimise waste, and enhance overall team efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practises in agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
Requirements:
- Salesforce experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- In-depth knowledge of agile principles and the Scrum framework.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification highly preferred.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficient with agile tools such as Jira or similar project management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field is desired but not mandatory.
