1.1 Year 3 Teaching Assistant (Temporary to Permanent)

- Day rate: £85-90 per day (salary will be discussed when permanent contract is offered)
Are you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1.1 Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Year 3. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis, but transitioning to a permanent role.
Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Year 3 class teacher to support students' learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with classroom activities, including one-on-one support with an SEN student.
- Providing additional support to students with varying abilities
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to create engaging lesson materials
- Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with primary school-aged children and SEN.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- A patient and nurturing approach to supporting students' individual needs
- A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom dynamics
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Additional qualifications in child development or education are desirable
