Location: Central Stockport

Salary: £23,500 - £26,000 Full Time Equivalent

Type: Permanent / Part-time (20 hours per week) – flexible to adjust schedule

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a business with a very bright future. This company is in the automation software solutions industry, working with huge house-hold names supporting their clients with upgrading bespoke systems.

Due to expansion, they're looking to bring on board an office administrator to support the day-to-day running of the business and directly aid the senior leadership team.

We're seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated administrator to join the team. As the first point of contact for their clients and employees, you will provide exceptional administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials, agendas, and minutes as needed
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, schedules, and itineraries for employees
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and scanning documents
  • Assist in special projects and events as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners

About you!

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues

This company is going places and will be due to expand again in the near future. That being said, the right candidate will be open to suggested hour increases around 14-18 months to support the increasing workload.
