If so then I have a great opportunity to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants as a Bookkeeper.
Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to be based at their office in Haywards Heath. This would be a great move if you have gained some basic bookkeeping or accounts experience and want to build on this in your next role.
This is a varied role in which the responsibilities can be adjusted based on experience but will include:
- Bookkeeping using Xero software
- Preparation of management accounts for a range of clients
- Preparation and subsequent submission of VAT returns monthly after review
- Preparation of Trial Balance for year-end accounts
- Maintaining regular client contact and being a first point of contact for client queries
To be considered, you will have some previous bookkeeping experience – this could be from an Accountancy Practice but my client is happy to consider candidates from an industry background. What is most important is that you can demonstrate a good eye for detail and a desire to learn along with excellent communication skills.
