Our exclusive client is currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Accounts Assistant for their well-established business based in Nelson.
The business is a niche market leader and has an extensive customer base on a national basis, and you will be joining a small finance team you will be welcomed into this excellent work family!
As Accounts Assistant your duties will include: -
- Manage all the purchase ledger invoices and full reconciliation on the ledger at month end.
- Process all supplier statements and payment runs.
- Montior the company credit control ledger and establish an effect collection schedule.
- Complete daily and weekly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare the weekly payroll and manage the annual leave system across the company.
- Support various adhoc accounting duties and support the finance manager accordingly.
The successful candidate will be joining a great business that has excelled over the last few years but needs a solid Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager with the company accounts. Ideally you will have 3 years' experience within the transactional side of accounting and be fully proficient with Sage reporting software.
