Digital Content Administrator

My client in Stevenage is looking for a Digital System Administrator on a temporary basis to complete a project that needs attention. (approx. 4 weeks)

The role will be supporting the in-house design team where you will updating and organising their online library Their online library provides their customers a selection of brand elements such as logos, graphics and brand photography so this job role will be to organise their digital content using Assest Bank (CMS system) This is a great opportunity for someone who has knowledge with a CMS system or who has looked after content and brands before. Or perhaps you have been studying marketing and home for the summer to undertake this project.

  • 35 hour week – Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

What you will do:

  • Maintain our brand library (AssetBank)
  • Upload content and media assets to Asset Bank as instructed by in-house team.
  • Tag content in accordance with brand guidelines and master keyword list.
  • Add, amend, and re-organise keywords as needed.
  • Input correct titles and descriptions of content.
  • Ensure copy is grammatically correct, without spelling errors.
  • Take initiative in grouping media in new ways where required – ie per media type (video, photo) or by finding new keywords or other forms of categorisation.
  • Liaise with internal teams to understand requirements and provide communication on tasks that have been assigned.
  • Review images and devise keywords, recognise where existing ones apply, maybe required to restructure, and amend current keyword lists.
  • Bulk upload and keyword similar items, batch update specific items.
  • Create new folders, etc. Amending or create titles and descriptions as needed, ensuring correct usage rights.
  • Replace and expire existing assets as needed

  • Good time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
