Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a rapidly expanding organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit a Credit Controller on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the effective collection of monies from clients, whilst ensuring the accurate and timely raising of sales invoices .
Main duties:
- Day to day credit control duties over the phone and via email, building a relationship with key clients
- Generate sales invoices to clients on a timely and accurate basis.
- Report on aged debt on a weekly basis, updating the stakeholders with cash updates and forecasts
- Processing of daily bank reconciliations to give the stakeholders up to date accurate information on cash.
- Provide ad hoc debtor and cash information to internal stakeholders.
- Support the development of the finance system and the efficiency of the department in general
- Adhere to Group Policies and Processes within the department.
- Any other duties as reasonably requested.
Main requirements:
- Strong credit control, sales and cash allocation experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- Good communication skills required in dealing with internal and external clients.
- Strong Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong team player
