Credit Controller

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a rapidly expanding organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit a Credit Controller on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the effective collection of monies from clients, whilst ensuring the accurate and timely raising of sales invoices .

Main duties:

  • Day to day credit control duties over the phone and via email, building a relationship with key clients
  • Generate sales invoices to clients on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Report on aged debt on a weekly basis, updating the stakeholders with cash updates and forecasts
  • Processing of daily bank reconciliations to give the stakeholders up to date accurate information on cash.
  • Provide ad hoc debtor and cash information to internal stakeholders.
  • Support the development of the finance system and the efficiency of the department in general
  • Adhere to Group Policies and Processes within the department.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested.

Main requirements:

  • Strong credit control, sales and cash allocation experience and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Good communication skills required in dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong team player
