HR Director - 6 Month FTC

Morgan Philips is searching for a HR Director with experience of setting up a new HR function in a manufacturing/ industrial environment for a 6 month contract paying up to £90,000pa plus £5k bonus. The role will eventually be hybrid based in Nottingham but will initially be 100% remote. This position will start ASAP so only those who are immediate or available on short notice will be considered.

The role of HR Director will be responsible for leading the HR Integration process of the Nottingham site into the wider global organisation including embedding a strategic plan and establishing a robust HR structure. This will include creation of policies, recruitment of key heads for the site as well as developing and implementing and new HR framework including recruitment, training and development. You will foster a positive work environment and culture to foster the values of the wider company as well as initially manage all employee relations and HR Operations.

This is a great opportunity to set up HR for a greenfield site with everything from culture to recruitment, policies and procedures. The successful candidate for the role will have experience of setting up HR for a new manufacturing or industrial site for a multinational company previously. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, who can drive cultural alignment, change management and operational excellence.
