This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in training who is eager to coach and tutor others in the field. This is initially a 9-month contract with the potential to be extended. The client is offering a salary of £35,000 pro rata for the 9 months with a range of excellent benefits including hybrid working.
What Does the Role Entail?
In this role, you will work face-to-face with people, coaching and supporting them on their journey to employment. You will conduct employability sessions, offer advice on interview skills, and provide job search methods. Your responsibilities include rebuilding participant confidence following unemployment, identifying and implementing correct interventions to remove barriers, and helping participants regain employment. Additionally, you will maintain records, ensuring regular contact to keep participants motivated and focused. Your guidance will be informed by diagnostic screening, assessments, and skills analysis, allowing participants to explore all available employment options. You will also engage with local employers to understand their needs and promote your participants for job opportunities.
What Skills Will You Have?
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to perform the above duties. It would be advantageous if you have experience in training, coaching, and delivering to targets helping people get employed. It would also be desirable if you were aware of current recruitment trends.
