Project Co-Ordinator

Quick Staff Uk is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an established service provider based in Cardiff. To support and assist with the day-to-day running of their operational activities within the business. The Project Co-Ordinator will work closely with their team to provide end-to-end client engagement from receipt if acceptance to completion of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process work requests taking responsibility for work planning
  • Provide focal point of contact for customers and Construction staff
  • Process material and equipment orders
  • Manage key information flows through cycle of GT/IGT & DNO/IDNO processes
  • Issue weekly whereabouts to Network Owners
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of the project
  • Liaise with client and third parties to facilitate legals
  • Process connection requests taking responsibility for planning with Network Owners
  • Liaise with 3rd party contractors/suppliers and act as a port of call for any issues
  • Create Work Requests for the Construction Teams
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
  • Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Handle queries from managers and employees effectively and provide solutions
  • To carry out any other duties appropriate for a job of this nature

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative, or with minimal support
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Ability to priorities their workload effectively with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Emphasis on accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Adaptable and responsive to change
  • A strong working knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft packages
  • An excellent standard of numeracy and literacy with the ability to construct professional written correspondence to all stakeholders
