Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Welsh Language Teacher committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a love for the Welsh language. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, develop an inspiring curriculum, and support students' academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Welsh as a second language to students of all ages and abilities up to GCSE level.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
  • Develop and implement a Welsh curriculum that meets the needs of students and the school.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Welsh education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practices.
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Welsh education or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Welsh to students of all ages and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
