Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Welsh Language Teacher committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a love for the Welsh language. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, develop an inspiring curriculum, and support students' academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Welsh as a second language to students of all ages and abilities up to GCSE level.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Develop and implement a Welsh curriculum that meets the needs of students and the school.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Welsh education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practices.
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Welsh education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Welsh to students of all ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
