Are you an experienced Civil or Structural engineer looking to leave your mark on a growing consultancy through building a developing a team and working on large-scale projects?

This office-based role offers the opportunity to build and lead a team, expanding the client base while maintaining high-quality project delivery. Initially, this involves site visits, competitive bidding, and project management. As the team grows, the successful candidate will mentor staff with scope to progress with further office growth.

The ideal candidate should hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and possess Chartership status with a professional body such as MICE or ISTuctE. Ideally, they will come from a Civil/Structural background and have experience in bidding and managing projects. While some managerial experience is preferred, it can be developed through internal training.

The role:

  • Grow, mentor, and develop the capabilities of the engineering team
  • Attend sites to gain an understanding of the project scope and pricing to ensure comprehensive management of project deliverables
  • Develop external networks to ensure optimal reach to potential clients
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and senior management to establish and implement growth strategies

The Person:

  • Hold chartership status to a relevant professional institution (MICE, ISTructE)
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Background in Civil/Structural engineering
  • Preferably experience in mentoring staff and developing competencies
