Key Details:
- Shifts: 12-hour duties
- Tours: Drivers will conduct 2 tours a day.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of coach driving experience required.
- Driver's Licence: Maximum of 6 points on driver's licence.
- Tacho Card: Essential requirement for this role.
- Route Assistance: Drivers will have a guide to assist with the tour route.
- Local Knowledge: Drivers must have good knowledge of driving in Scotland.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a coach, providing a smooth and enjoyable journey for passengers.
- Ensure exceptional customer service, assisting passengers and addressing inquiries during the tour.
- Coordinate with the tour guide to schedule stops, highlight points of interest, and maintain the tour itinerary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the coach is in optimal condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies always.
- Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests, enhancing their overall experience.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's Licence with a maximum of 6 points.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a coach driver.
- Tacho Card (Digital Tachograph Driver Card) required.
- communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups of passengers.
- Knowledge of the geography, history, and attractions of Scotland.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
