Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team as an Operational Resilience - Capital Requirements Manager. As the Operational Resilience - Capital Requirements Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organisation's capital risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation's capital risk management framework, aligning it with regulatory requirements.
Establish and enforce capital risk policies, procedures, and standards across the organisation.
Continuously assess and enhance the framework to meet evolving market conditions and organisational strategies.
Lead the assessment of capital adequacy and maintain sufficient capital buffers to absorb potential losses.
Monitor key risk indicators related to capital management and provide regular reports to senior leadership and the Board.
Evaluate the impact of strategic decisions on the organisation's capital position and risk profile.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including stress testing and capital planning.
Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure transparency in capital risk reporting.
Provide leadership to cross-functional teams involved in capital management.
Work closely with finance, treasury, and legal departments to integrate capital management into broader risk management strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Develop and deliver training programmes on capital risk management practises.
Qualifications:

In-depth understanding of capital risk management principles, practises, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in risk management software and financial modelling tools.
