Lettings Negotiator

We are currently recruiting for an exciting Lettings Negotiator role for a very well-established Estate Agency of over 40 years based in St Albans. Always offering excellent customer service to their clients they also pride themselves on their excellent local market knowledge, providing first class Estate Agency, Letting Agency, and New Homes to various locations.

The successful candidate must have at least 1 years' experience within Lettings and be a proactive team player with negotiating lettings contracts. You will be responsible for helping to build on their share in the market and establishing relationships with tenants and landlords.

You must have a driving licence with access to your own car.

Salary package and benefits for the role of Lettings Negotiator include:

  • Basic £23,000 - £24,000
  • OTE £30,000 - £32,000 (personal and office commission)
  • Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am - 5pm

Key responsibilities for the role of the Lettings Negotiator include:

  • Negotiating lettings contracts
  • Generating new business
  • Building the market share
  • Be up to date with current compliance and legislation
  • Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with tenants and landlords
  • Attending property viewings
  • Negotiating offers
  • Making call outs to market the properties currently on offer
  • Guiding and advising tenants and landlords
  • Always providing an exceptional service

The skills and experience required for the role of Lettings Negotiator include:

  • 1 years + experience within Lettings
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Reapit would be desirable but not essential
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
  • An excellent understanding of the lettings process
  • Confident in putting offers to clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a busy fast paced environment
  • Strong organisation skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Engaging and informative
  • Outstanding customer service skills
