As a supply teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing lesson plans provided by regular classroom teachers or developing your own lesson plans when necessary.
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students to help with their success.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining discipline in line with school policies.
- Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to address student needs and maintain consistency in instruction.
- Providing feedback to regular classroom teachers regarding student progress and any other details
What we require from you:
- QTS or ECT status
- Strong classroom management skills
- Resourcefulness and enthusiasm
- To keep up to date with the National Curriculum
- Two reliable references
