Zachary Daniels are partnered with one if the UK's leading retail brands as they search for a new Digital Optimisation Manager to join their team. Your role as the Digital Optimisation Manager will be to help in driving the digital roadmap, providing constant analysis whilst developing new strategies and tactics to optimise the user journey across Search, Merch & Personalisation.

You will be integral in creating a relevant and data driven Search & Visual Merchandising strategy, adopting best in class strategies and developing forward thinking features that will help to drive the performance of each brand forward, in line with the group aspirations. The group are looking to personalise the experience across every touch point and you will be at the heart of delivering that for each brand, to make the consumer's experience feel as personable as possible.

Digital Optimisation Manager - Role Summary:

'The main duties involve supporting the digital optimisation lead in developing a product discoverability roadmap, enhancing onsite search optimisation to achieve business goals, and overseeing customer-centric merchandising strategies. Responsibilities include managing digital projects from concept to delivery, utilising customer data for personalisation, and leading cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experiences during key events. The role also involves managing third-party vendor relationships, mentoring the optimisation team, and aligning team efforts with strategic objectives. Additionally, it includes working with the experimentation team on AB testing, identifying and addressing customer pain points using data insights, overseeing weekly trade reporting, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through regular review and refinement of optimisation processes, tools, and strategies.'

What are we looking for?

'The ideal candidate has proven experience in digital optimisation, strong leadership and team management skills, and a deep understanding of data-driven strategies, capable of translating insights into actionable plans. They possess expertise in onsite search optimisation and merchandising tools (e.g., Algolia or Attraqt), excellent analytical skills with A/B testing and data interpretation experience, and strong project management abilities to handle multiple initiatives from concept to delivery. Additionally, they have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, familiarity with analytical tools like GA and ContentSquare, and experience managing relationships with third-party tools.'
