WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Lloyd Recruitment Services are collaborating with a family run courier business on the outskirts of Horsham. They are looking to hire a Logistics Supervisor to work within their branch.
This is a fast paced, hands on role, with a combination of standard warehouse duties and back office administrative support. The right candidate will need to have a good understanding of shipping, warehouse or logistics processes, ideally with exposure to an office environment.
Main duties of the Warehouse Supervisor:
- Supporting the daily warehouse functions, including loading, unloading, picking, packing and conducting quality checks on products
- Completing shipping paperwork
- Inputting freight information onto the company system
- Liaising with couriers and external shipping providers
- Tracking and monitoring parcels to ensure timely delivery
- Liaising with clients and rectifying any concerns
- Fostering professional and collaborative client relationships
- Providing ad hoc cover to other sites as required (Crawley, Horley)
Necessary experience/skills:
- Drivers' licence essential
- Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Background in customer support roles (advantageous)
- Excellent administrative and computer skills
