Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across Year 1 to Year 4. This role is essential in maintaining the continuity of learning during teacher absences, ensuring that students receive the support and guidance they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms across Year 1 to Year 4 during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students stay focused and productive.
- Provide support and guidance to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom management and maintain discipline in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a seamless transition during cover periods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and engage a classroom effectively.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Commitment to the welfare and development of students.
