Location: Bridgwater
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Resourcing Partner to join our team at Hinkley Point C, the UK's first new build nuclear power station in a generation. This project is critical to the UK's NetZero targets. All roles on the project require behaviours that support the Zero Harm objective, a questioning attitude, and a drive to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage resourcing activities for the Hinkley Point C project, including planning, attracting, and selecting new employees.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers across the business, providing advice and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop and implement a robust direct candidate attraction strategy.
  • Oversee recruitment campaigns, attracting candidates through various sources.
  • Ensure job descriptions are accurate for advertising roles and new starters.
  • Assist in organising and conducting interviews.
  • Monitor responses and applications efficiently.
  • Support managers in designing and implementing suitable assessment tools.
  • Gather research, market, and competitor information to support campaign planning and success.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are professional, structured, and consistent, complying with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Monitor recruitment success metrics and provide monthly reporting on activity.
  • Liaise with the HR Manager and Training and Skills Manager to ensure adequate induction and training dates.
  • Support retention activities such as exit interviews, analysis, and action planning.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous experience in the full end-to-end recruitment cycle.
  • Experience recruiting across a wide variety of functions and skill areas, including large-scale blue-collar campaigns and managerial roles, preferably in the construction sector.
  • Proficiency in using various sourcing channels, including the internet, employee referrals, advertising, and third parties.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external suppliers and monitoring PSL performance.

Additional Qualifications/Experience:

  • A valid CSCS card.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • A positive, can-do mentality with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative nature.
  • Ability to reach sensible compromises and focus on team performance, training, and mentoring.
