About the Role

An established manufacturing business in the Wirral is seeking a Shift Operations Supervisor to oversee activities in a controlled production environment. The role involves leading a team, ensuring quality standards, and managing day-to-day production requirements.

You'll be responsible for guiding staff, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run daily shift briefings, setting priorities and targets for staff
  • Manage attendance records and support HR processes
  • Assign work tasks and ensure timely completion of activities
  • Resolve production issues and adjust plans to keep output on schedule
  • Communicate effectively during shift handovers, ensuring key information is shared
  • Work with quality teams to maintain strict standards and documentation
  • Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean, organised workspace
  • Coach and support team members to encourage development and performance

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production supervision
  • Good organisational ability and confidence making decisions
  • A detail-oriented approach and focus on maintaining high quality
  • Ability to handle pressure and resolve challenges proactively
  • Flexible mindset and willingness to undertake further training
  • Experience working rotating shifts is beneficial
