Description
- Oversee Daily Logistics Operations: Manage the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and manage stock replenishment.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and packaging.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the logistics operation and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all logistics activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
Profile
- Experience: Proven experience in a logistics management role within the FMCG sector, preferably within food production or similar industries.
- Skills: Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Flexibility: Ability to start immediately and commit to the temporary duration of the role.
- Location: Proximity to West London and the ability to commute daily.
- Systems: Previous ERP experience, advanced Excel skills
