SEN Teaching Assistant - Rainham
We are currently working with a good Ofsted-rated school based in Rainham who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them as soon as possible.
About the role
- Working 121 with a child in a primary school with Autism
- Student displays challenging behaviours and is non-verbal
- Full time Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)
- £80-£95 per day
- Trial day/week initally to ensure you and the named pupil work well together
Ideal candidate
- Previous experience working with young children with Autism
- Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
- Experience using Makaton or PECS to communicate with non-verbal children
- Child only DBS on the online update service
