- ** Supporting a child with complex learning needs on a 1:1 basis, across the syllabus.
Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree in psychology.
- Dedication to the education and development of SEN pupils.
- Some understanding of complex learning needs.
- An empathetic and patient personality.
- Natural ability to build strong bonds with young children.
- Previous experience of working alongside young pupils is advantageous, but not essential.
The Role
- Assisting teaching staff in day-to-day tasks.
- Helping to plan and deliver lessons.
- Providing constructive feedback.
- Addressing questions surrounding lesson content.
- Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to strengthen understanding.
- Assisting in extracurricular activities.
