Operations Supervisor
Location - Ramsgate, Kent

Our client, an electronic products manufacturer is looking to expand their team with an experienced Operations Supervisor.
As the Operations Supervisor your responsibilities would include
- Oversee daily operations of the Landing Gear, Hydraulics, and Test Bay departments
- Plan and schedule FPBU workload around the site production schedule using the company ERP system
- Foster and maintain high team morale and effective teamwork
- Ensure all standard operating procedures and practices are followed in line with SOPs and H&S protocols
- Coach, motivate, and manage staff performance; conduct performance reviews, identify training and development needs, and handle initial disciplinary and grievance issues
- Ensure the functionality of plant and equipment, including preventive and scheduled maintenance with a methodical planning system
- Ensure the working practices and standards are in line with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables
- Coordinate the efficient use of resources and equipment to meet production schedules
- Support the implementation of new product development initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and promote a 'Just Culture'
- Ensure component work adheres to procedures outlined in CMMs and overhaul manuals
- Work with the customer support team to achieve efficient and effective customer service levels.
Person specification for the role of Operations Supervisor
- Will need to have had previous experience within the engineering industry
- Would have had team leadership experience within a production workshop environment
- Must be computer literate and comfortable with MS Office software
