Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for supporting children with disabilities and their families?
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, planning interventions, and working collaboratively to support and empower children with disabilities and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify risks, needs, and strengths.
- Developing and implementing care plans to support the safety, well-being, and development of children with disabilities.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and improve care.
- Providing support and advocacy for children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within children and family services, with a focus on disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
