Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Property Paralegal to join our esteemed team at a Top Legal 500 firm in South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career in commercial property law, with the potential for a future training contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors in managing a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions, including leases, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Deals with licenses to assign, alter and underlet.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports on relevant property law issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and other property-related agreements.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to gather information and provide updates on progress.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
  • Attend client meetings and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations relevant to the practice area.

Qualifications:

  • A Law degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a legal environment, ideally in commercial property, is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
