Commercial Assistant

Working in the construction sector to coordinate and oversaw the commercial management for the delivery of all selected projects.

Location: - Gravesend

Pay Rate: - Up to £16 per hour (DOE)

Role:

The Resolute Group supports a trusted and award-winning construction sector firm who have been supporting major construction projects for 30+ years. As a Commercial Assistant, you will provide commercial support to all members of the Commercial team to ensure reliable service across all projects.

As a Commercial Assistant you will perform a range of specialist administrative tasks. Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:

  • Support in the submission of accurate applications for payment for projects at agreed or contractual intervals, ensuring payment certificates have been received, invoices are issued, and payment is received.
  • Create, build, and maintain client relationships to gain new and repeat customers for our services.
  • Provide the necessary support to all site teams to ensure they have sufficient resources, and all necessary arrangements are in place for them to complete their responsibilities.
  • Ensure full compliance with Company commercial procedures and corporate governance requirements.
  • Support in the timely and accurate commercial reporting for project reviews and group reporting. Support Commercial Managers in further company-wide reporting as required.

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • A levels are a minimum requirement, ideally excellent GCSE grade in English as well.
  • Administration experience - Proficient use of Excel, Microsoft, Outlook.
  • Innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills, written and oral.
