In-House Trustee Pension Manager

BWD are working with an international manufacturing company who have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trustee Pensions Manager to join their in-house UK Pensions team. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract but has opportunity for extensions and possible permanent transfers. Our client is open to fully remote working with occasional travel to their West Midlands head office.

You will be an experienced pensions professional with strong UK DB Pensions scheme experience and must have expert exposure to the inner workings of the Trustee Boards. This will include acting as Trustee Secretary, preparing papers, taking minutes and following up actions. You will have experience of managing 3rd party providers, pensions management, project management and being up to date with current regulations.

This opportunity will give the right person the chance to work on 6 different schemes covering DB and DC and get exposure to the wider trustee board responsibilities. You will ideally be PMI qualified and you must have trustee experience.

Experience Required

  • 5 years minimum in DB Pension Scheme administration experience, governance and trustee meetings, minute taking, pensions project work, project management
  • You will be a confident self-start with excellent written skills and the desire to learn and develop your pensions and benefits knowledge
  • A pension related qualification, or the desire to take one would be beneficial (PMI, CPC etc)
