HW People are engaged with Leicester based AIM listed business who are looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Manager leading a team of 4.
The role involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all payments, with appropriate approval levels. You will lead the department's data input function, implementing best practice procedures, and oversee the support team, which serves as the first point of contact for all invoices, documentation, and queries. Your responsibilities will also include managing payment runs, faster payments, monitoring direct debits, assisting with bank reconciliations, and handling key accounts to support the team.
Reporting directly into the Head of Financial Reporting you will provide timely cash outflow forecasts to the Head of Financial Reporting, as well as managing the collection of credit notes related to the Group's rebate structures and oversee outgoing cash processes.
