As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Junior Revenue Accountant to join our finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process client invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and report on revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly revenue reports.
- Manage accounts receivable, including chasing outstanding invoices and resolving payment issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts related to receivables.
- Assist the Management Accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
- Support the analysis of financial data to provide insights into business performance.
- Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of accounting information.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support budget planning and forecasting activities.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a finance role within a creative agency or fast-paced industry.
- Experience in revenue accounting, invoicing, and credit control.
- Proficiency in accounting software; knowledge of Xero is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
