We are looking for compassionate and experienced SEN Tutors to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in special education and a deep understanding of various learning disabilities and challenges. You will be responsible for delivering personalised tutoring sessions to students with SEN, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised tutoring sessions to students with SEN.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development.
- Use a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Provide emotional and academic support to students.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is preferred.
- Proven experience working with students with SEN.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and appropriate teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with SEN.
- Ability to work 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
