Secondary Learning Support Assistant
We are recruiting a Secondary Learning support Assistant to work within the SEND unit of the Mainstream School. This school located in the Hampton area and has a warm, caring and vibrant environment which provides support and challenge to ensure that all students, regardless of their starting points, achieve well to go on and lead happy and fulfilled lives. This will be a full time role, from Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:15pm. As a Secondary Learning support Assistant, you will need to be confident in supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, as well as assisting the class teacher. You will be expected to work with children of various learning difficulties.

The Role:
- Support a child with their learning and development
- As a Secondary Learning support Assistan you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
- Have experience working with Secondary SEND children in a school setting out outside a school setting
- Have experience working in a secondary school
- Build a close bond with the child to ensure they feel comfortable both inside & outside the classroom
- Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritised as a Teaching Assistant
Requirements:
- Available Immediately, Mon-Fri , 8:15am to 3:15pm
- MUST have a CHILD ONLY DBS or willing to get one
- Have experience with children in some capacity whereby you can provide a reference
- Live local to Hampton or within a commutable distance
