Location:
- Heathrow
Rate:
- £17.85 per hour basic day rate
- £22.31 on nights (must be flexible to workdays and nights)
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervisor to direct a variety of site works including site logistics, erection and maintenance of hoardings, skip call offs and other duties as directed by the site manager.
- Take full responsibility for staff under jurisdiction and work closely with the client, produce a detailed shift report for the client including photographic evidence.
- Carry out site inspections using dedicated forms including fire point and hoarding checks, maintain equipment and tools used on site.
- Adhoc tasks as directed by the client.
- Full awareness and understanding of all site documents, ensure the team understand the task at hand and carry it out safely.
- Deal with and resolve technical and staff issues as they arise.
- Formally report progress, problems and issues to management
- Undertake works as well as supervising them.
- Ensure compliance with Method Statements and Risk Assessments and that they are read and understood by staff before a task is undertaken and constant review of RAMS to ensure suitability to the task assigned.
- Ensure a clean and tidy site at all times, handover clean areas to the terminal manager daily and conduct site safety checks
- Understand, practice and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards on site
- Undertake toolbox talks and staff briefings (DABS / NABS)
- Liaise with managers, customers, contractors, suppliers and others to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, problems and solutions
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Gold Card ( NVQ Level 3 in Construction)
- Valid SMSTS certificate
- Verifiable 5 year work / education history with no disqualifying convictions
- Full UK Driving Licence (must be able to drive automatic and manual)
