Job Opportunity: Driver
We are a job agency currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics company. We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join their team. If you are customer-focused and ready to play a key role in a dynamic work environment, we want to hear from you.
Main Responsibilities
- Representing the company in a positive and courteous manner at all times.
- Load your vehicle in a safe and proper manner.
- Follow the routing and scheduling of DPS when possible
- Ensure customers receive goods at the required time and to the required delivery point
- Notifying the office of any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity
- Carry out a daily vehicle inspection, ensuring the vehicle is in a sound and legal condition, reporting any faults on the relevant inspection document.
- Ensure the vehicle is locked and secured when not in attendance
- Observe the rules of the Highway Code at all times, and always consider other road users.
- Ensure the vehicle is washed and kept in a clean condition both inside
- and out.
- Assist in the warehouse both picking and put away.
- Ensure delivery notes are signed by the customer
- Observe all H&S procedures at all time
- And any other duties that may become necessary from time to time
