Our client is a leading waste processing plant who are looking to expand their engineering team. They now require a Multi-skilled engineer to assist with PPMs and reactive Maintenance to their machinery and facilites.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mainly planned preventative maintenance and servicing schedules
  • Providing reactive maintenance to boilers, steamers, pressure vessels, and shredders
  • Carrying out both electrical & mechanical fault finding
  • Working on facilities and site services maintenance daily
  • Adhering to Call out Schedule

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - either electrical or mechanical biased

  • Must have some hands-on engineering experience

  • Ideally have experience in waste processing or incineration sites

  • An engineering qualification or time served as an engineer

  • Familiarity with electrics, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Electrical inspection and installation

  • Boiler and heating systems

  • Fabrication and MIG/TIG Welding

  • Pressure systems

  • Incinerators
