Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Ware

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a wonderful school in Ware. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing teaching and learning across various subjects. You will work closely with teaching staff to lead small groups, deliver pre-planned lessons, and provide targeted interventions to support student progress and attainment. Additionally, you will assist in planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities to ensure they are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the school's curriculum objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group interventions to support students' learning and development.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons under the guidance of teaching staff, ensuring effective curriculum delivery.
  • Provide individualised support to students with additional needs, including SEN and EAL learners.
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.

Requirements:

  • Ability to engage and motivate students, fostering a love for learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Adaptability and resilience to meet the varying needs and challenges of a primary school environment.
  • Able to commute to Ware.
