Role Description: As a Business Analyst in the finance division, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing financial reporting systems and data integrity. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and client-facing staff, to ensure seamless project execution and insightful business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models using Excel, incorporating advanced functions and macros.
  • Analyze monthly management information and participate in the creation of management accounts.
  • Oversee and advance the use of the SUN accounts system (v6).
  • Manage interfaces with related systems, including expense and timesheet applications.
  • Deliver monthly and ad hoc KPI reports and analyses.
  • Evaluate new system possibilities and spearhead implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on digital transformation initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to users, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in a finance-focused Business Analyst role, preferably within professional services or recruitment.
  • Expert-level Excel skills (VBA and Macros).
  • Familiarity with SUN Systems and Vision reporting tools is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with proactive and forward-thinking approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
  • High standards of integrity and discretion, with an emphasis on accuracy and detail.
  • Project management experience and an accounting background are advantageous.
