Commercial Vendor Manager - Facilities

Location: Harlow
Salary: £50,000.00 - £60,000

Summary:
The Commercial Vendor Manager will report to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain and be responsible for developing and implementing vendor management best practice throughout the Facilities Management Service Provision for both Hard & Soft Services across all operating sites. You will work in conjunction with Site Leads and in partnership with the wider Procurement, Operations and Health & Safety teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the performance of key strategic vendors
  • Ensuring vendor compliance with company standards
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers
  • Managing vendor purchase order and billing processes for cost control

Experience:

  • MCIPS qualified or working towards
  • Vendor management experience
  • Cost management and legal contracting experience
  • Previous facilities management sourcing experience
  • Basic understanding of facilities management operations and technical requirements (RAMS, Permit to Work, SFG20, HTM standards, waste disposal)
  • Good communication skills
  • IT literate
