- Expansion has created the need for a new Production Supervisor
The role of Production Supervisor
- Resolve minor production issues as required (for example parts shortages, drawing or instruction errors, basic fault finding and correction).
- Help maintain and implement the production plan as set forward by the production planner.
- Ensure that your team is fully trained in all aspects relating to their work seeking outside help when needed.
- Ensure quality processes are implemented and maintained to work towards "Right First Time & No Fault Forward".
- Ensure that any new processes are properly communicated through the team, making sure that the entire team is on board and understands what is required of them.
- Ensuring Clarity production is up to date and used correctly.
- Developing your team's skills & ensuring personal progression continues.
- Work with the quality engineer to ensure that any equipment used within your department is properly maintained and used in the correct manner.
- Work with the operations team to assess and continuously improve productivity and quality.
- Participate in production meetings, providing insights and updates on resource availability and team members performance.
The Candidate for Production Supervisor
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess and implement process and design improvements to enhance production efficiency.
- Must be comfortable working with electronics and computer/software based products.
- Basic soldering, wiring, electronics test and fault-finding skills desirable.
- Strong IT skills would be an advantage.
