Adept are excited to be partnering with a leading Oil & Gas manufacturer based in Scotland who due to rapid growth within the past year are looking to recruit a Manual Turner to join their shop floor team.
Shifts - 3 Shift Pattern :
Two Weeks Rotation of Days/Nights Shift Pattern
Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 6.30am to 4pm & Fridays 6.30am to 1.30pm
Night Shifts - Monday to Thursday 7.30pm to 6.30am
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes and turning machines to produce components according to engineering drawings
- Check and inspect own work
- Work within tolerance
- Use measuring equipment to ensure work is within tolerance
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Manual Turner or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Must have at least 2 years experience working in the Oil and Gas indutry
- Must have knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle time
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
