Our client, a well-established music management company, is seeking a personable Office Manager who possesses a 'can-do' attitude and will provide seamless support to their small team in their office based in South-West London.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking diary management for the Director, and schedule meetings and calls for the Director and wider team.
  • Arranging business travel for the Director and organising itineraries.
  • Booking couriers and taxis for the Director, wider team, and occasionally for clients.
  • Processing expenses and consolidating receipts for the Director.
  • Welcoming guests and preparing meeting rooms.
  • Maintaining a well-organised and efficient office environment.
  • Ensuring office supplies and stationery are well stocked.
  • Organising general office maintenance, and liaising with cleaners, office landlord, repair contractors.
  • Minimising disruption with prompt handling of IT issues.
  • Handling some HR responsibilities with onboarding new employees, and holiday bookings and absences.
  • Overseeing Health and Safety issues for the office and organising insurance.
  • Providing general office administrative support to the wider team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the music industry in a similar role.
  • Possess an approachable demeanour is essential.
  • High level of literacy is essential, and good numeracy is desirable.
  • Proven organisational skills and logistical planning skills.
  • Able to handle sensitive tasks/information with discretion.
  • Possess an understanding of the music industry is desirable.
  • Able to pre-empt obstacles and work flexibly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Diligent and proactive approach.
  • Strong IT skills; able to use Apple devices and software, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to handle conflicting priorities and/or high-pressure situations.
  • Willing to demonstrate commitment to the role and respond positively to instruction.
