Operations Supervisor

We are delighted to be working with a premium brand located in the North Chailey area. Due to increase in demand for their product, this fantastic company are going from strength to strength and have a need to appoint an Operations Supervisor.
This role is responsible for overseeing the factory and warehouse operations. This role plays a crucial role in overseeing and working with the Factory Lead Hand in managing the daily operations of the food manufacturing facility. The responsibilities include safe production of raw pet food by regular microbiological testing, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards and managing a team of workers.
This role plays a crucial role in overseeing and working with the Warehouse Lead Hand to coordinate and oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. The responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring workplace safety and managing a team of warehouse personnel.
This role involves keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to be successful in this role.

Requirements:
- Experience working in a factory and warehouse environment
- A good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure and the cost of bad practices, ideally within the food industry
