Duties & responsibilities
- Liaising directly with clients, answering their queries, and providing on-going business advice
- Bookkeeping duties using computerized accounting systems -Sage and IRIS
- Preparation and submission of accounts for review and finalization
- To process data, from client records, into accounting software
- To produce accounts, from this information to trial balance stage
- To complete VAT Returns
- To visit clients at their premises on occasion
- Preparation and finalization of management accounts for companies ranging £1million - £5million
Skills & Experience
- Experience within a similar accounting environment
- AAT qualified or similar
- Self-motivated and ability to manage own time and stick to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent IT skills
