Attwood Perks is partnering with an established, forward-thinking business in Ipswich who are now seeking a Change Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

As Change Manager in this evolving business, you will lead and champion both technology and organisational change initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive change advocate, capable of driving transformation across the business and ensuring smooth transitions through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Change Team in their duties and implementation of the organisations varied change plan.
  • Embed change management practices to continue to develop change management capability.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the whole company.
  • Identify and champion business improvements and efficiencies, driving through change initiative opportunities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to support the successful adoption of new technologies and organisational processes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitor progress and delivery, ensuring business benefits are constantly assessed.
  • Act as a Change role model, ensuring high standards, appropriate governance and clear risk management.
  • Identify potential barriers to change and develop mitigation strategies to address resistance and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Provide high quality support and training for the Change Team acting as a point of escalation for complex and high priority requests as required. Where necessary, provide hands-on change management leadership across strategic projects and programmes.
  • Manage, maintain and enhance the project management framework, assuring high quality deliverables in line with requirements, budget and timelines.
  • Provide oversight and guidance of Change initiatives ensuring transparency through reporting and appropriate tracking of key metrics for management and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate engagement with stakeholders at all levels and third-party suppliers as required for the effective provision of Change services to the business.
  • Manage Change expenditure on a day-to-day basis, overall, by portfolio and project
  • Assist in the definition of budget and corporate plans
  • Ensure effective co-operation between the Change team and all other areas of the business, particularly to ensure delivery of effective, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
  • To escalate risk incidents.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to help them adapt to new systems, processes, and behaviours.

You will bring...

  • A passion and enthusiasm for leading projects and initiatives through to completion
  • Understanding of project management, change frameworks and delivery methodologies
  • Either already hold or have willingness to complete relevant change management qualification
  • Ability to positively influence cultural change
  • Proactive team player with ability to build relationships
  • Good experience of change project management software including MS Project and JIRA
  • Clear, accurate, effective and timely communication at all levels
  • Able to identify, explore and exploit opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to manage conflict between resources, requirements and deadlines
  • Effectively prioritise own and team requests/workload to ensure that they are dealt with in order of priority
  • Able to effectively delegate work to colleagues and escalate issues as required
  • Flexible and adaptable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt accordingly, staying calm under pressure
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail throughout all aspects of the role
  • *This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid-working position.
